The LGBTQ-themed Ascension Party, which has been previously staged at Fire Island Pines on Long Island and Mykonos in Greece, is coming to Asbury Park in August.
Organizers anticipate attendees from around the world in the city and on the beach for the fest’s 14 deejays spinning at 11 parties from August 4 to 6. The fest will be based at the Asbury Hotel on Kingsley Avenue, a short two blocks from the beach, and its Saturday Celebration party will take place at the renovated Asbury Lanes, which is adjacent to the hotel, according to organizers.
